I had another Squidoo RocketMom Assignment to make a How To Lens. So I thought that I would create one for parents on How to find The Best Birthday Party Supplies and Ideas for your Party. Being a Party Planner I know that finding just the right Party Supplies and Decorations for your party theme can be a bit overwhelming at times. So I wanted to share all of the great places I use when shopping for a party.
It turned into my Top 10 places to find Birthday Party Supplies. So if you are planning a Birthday Party and looking for the supplies to go along with your theme – then these recommendations will definitely help you along with my tips on purchasing party supplies and decorations.
I also write on Hubpages and wrote a very useful post you may also want to read: Keeping your Child’s Birthday Party Budget Friendly. It can be done with a little creativity and planning ahead and you can read all my tips that can help.
You can also see that from my Penguin Birthday Party I had for my daughter that I follow what I preach.
You will see I will be posting a bit and sharing my Squidoo RocketMom Assignments over the next few days. It is part of my summer school with Squidoo and Friday is my deadline to have all my writings in to graduate. Being a procrastinator I have been catching up writing a bunch last minute – BUT I would the best under pressure.
So with that being said I had to write a Recipe Lens – So I wanted to share a family recipe that we enjoy and is one of my favorites and it is How to make Corn Chowder. We have been making this for years and it is one of those recipes that the entire family loves. My husband is the one that usually makes it – he loves to cook – me not so much. When I do like to cook I have to find recipes that show pictures of what I am making – this has become a joke in my family. So of course I share all the step by step directions to making this chowder with photos. The best part was that I got to make my husband cook up a batch so I could document the steps – extra bonus!!!
So as your mouth waters looking at the photos you can see how easy this recipe is and the best part of it is that it is so versatile. You can add in more veggies, chicken and your own spices to your taste. I share it the way we like to eat it, but sometimes we also change it around. My other favorite part of this Chowder is that is it so BUDGET FRIENDLY. So check it out and warm up your belly with my Family Recipe.
You can also see some of my other recipes on Squidoo I have written that are more family favorites:
Our Turkey Soup Recipe – Where we take all those leftovers from Turkey Dinner and create another great meal. This recipe was handed down from my Mother-in-Law.
My Chicken got Porked – This is where I wrap a whole chicken in bacon – for an easy delicious tasting meal.
Are your kids huge fans of Webkinz? Are you planning a Webkinz Birthday Party? This is one area I know a lot about. Not only do I offer a Webfriendz Party Package that gives you the entire party plan in one place, but I also carry Krispy Kinz. So what are they? They are Chocolate Covered Rice Krispy Treats that resemble all of your favorite Webkinz. These make the perfect party favor to your Webkinz Birthday Party. These treats are huge as you can see from the picture of my daughter holding some. Each one is about 4-5 ounces and they each come individually wrapped and on a stick. They are all made fresh to order and you can mix and match your animals.
Honestly it took me 3 sittings just to eat mine and the kids love them. I am actually using the penguin for my daughter’s penguin party today as the party favor. So the animals can work with any theme not just Webkinz. You can take make a small gift tag saying something like “Thank you for coming to my party it was Sweet of you” attach it to each with some ribbon and that is all you need – favors done. Not only are they BUDGET FRIENDLY, but they are unique and delicious.
In addition to the Krispy Kinz Line you can also find some other design favorites like Mario, Abby Cadabby, Elmo, Sports and so many more… Just visit my website for more information; The Party Animal.
