I am so excited to share this exciting news – my Birthday Party Blog got a complete well needed makeover. It was not an easy task, but I did it. I will still make changes and be constantly approving and adding fun features, but for now it is up. Cupcakes Cookies and Birthday Cakes

Boy I have been busy on my Hubpages – I have been on a kick writing about Cupcakes, Cookies and Birthday Cakes. I guess I was feeling a bit SWEET lately. Nah – You know what it is? I really love cupcakes and that is what started it all and I am having fun finding some great ideas to share.  So let me share some of my newest Hubs that will give you ideas and inspiration the next time you are having a party – or maybe just for the heck of it. To each Hub I have added showcases of photos to give you all kinds of ideas – for me I like to look at the pictures and then create my own designs – so I thought I would not be the only one like that.

So here are the Hubs that I have completed with many more to come:

Turkey Cupcakes – Every holiday when my family gets together we always plan an activity for the kids to do. One fun activity is to allow them to make their own Turkey Cupcakes.

Reindeer Cupcakes – Reindeer Cupcakes are not only a fun treat around the holidays, but a fun party activity the kids can do any enjoy. This is one of the things I do with the kids on Holidays and at Parties myself.

Snowman Cupcakes – I love cupcakes and I love getting the kids involved in making them. I love to do this at our family gatherings and holiday parties and you can do it too. The kids love to eat them, but they also love to make their own creations.

Princess Birthday Cakes – Princess Birthday Cakes are so much fun to make and not as hard as they look. I am going to share with you some great Princess Birthday Cakes that you can create at home for your little princess. I think at some point every parent that has a daughter will have a party that has to do with a Princess Theme – it is almost a given.

Frog Cakes and Cupcakes – I have been doing a lot of writing about The Princess and the Frog Movie and have come across some of the cutest Frog Birthday Cakes and Cupcakes so I figured I would share them for all of those looking for ideas. You can either use one of the recipes for one you like or use them for inspiration on coming up with your own designs.

Popcorn Cupcakes – I absolutely love these Popcorn Cupcakes and they are a fun treat for all your party guests. So many people are unaware that you can make a cupcake look like popcorn so you will certainly wow them as well.

Pig Cupcakes – Are you having a Pig or Farm Theme Birthday Party? Do you just love Pigs? If you answered yes to any of those then you will really love these Pig Cupcakes – I know I do. I have been doing a lot of writing on cupcakes lately and the design ideas are endless.

Giant Cookie Birthday Cakes – Have fun at your next Birthday Party and instead of a cake – make a Giant Cookie Birthday Cake. Not only are they easy to do – kids love to eat cookies. You do not always have to have the normal type Birthday Cake at a party, sometimes it is fun to change things up a bit. With some ideas you will find here maybe you will be inspired to do just that.

Giant Cupcake Birthday Cakes – Now I love Cupcakes at Birthday Parties, but have you seen the Giant Cupcakes? I do not think a cupcake can get any better than that. Now obviously your Giant Cupcake would not be made for each guest, although I would be ok with that, it would be used as your Birthday Cake.

Easy Birthday Cake Patterns – I was recently doing a blog post on my Birthday Party Blog when I stumbled across these very cool Birthday Cake Patterns and knew I just had to share them. They are sold on Ebay from seller kidz-cakes and I think they are genius.

So far that is all I have in the Sweets, but there will be many more to come. I am also working on a complete over haul to my Birthday Party Blog which will take up most of my time and I already have a busy week. So I have been busy with some new Birthday Party Themes on my Party Blog. My focus has been on the boys, but the party themes can go either way. Here is what I have been up to:

A Penguin Birthday Party Theme

Remember when I said that I was working on a Penguin Birthday Party Theme for my daughter? Well it is over and it was fantastic. I just blogged the entire party details on my party blog: Penguin Birthday Party.  For this party I made all of my own party decorations and even created and made the games with things I had around the house. I wanted to show others that you can have a party that looks like you spent a ton of money when in reality it hardy cost anything.  My money was spent mostly on food to feed the kids and on the party activity which was Stuffing a Plush Penguin and the Penguin Party Favors.

I even made my own Penguin Cupcakes which I also have featured on my party blog with Step by Step instructions on the two styles I made and they were a huge hit. The kids played games like Musical Ice Bergs, Save the Penguin from the Ice, Feed the Penguin and more and you can find all the directions on my blog.

Again my point is even though it took me time to make everything  for the party it is so worth it in the end. Not only do you save a lot of money, but your party will never be the same as anyone else and the kids really love that too. Now do not say you are not creative – all the things I made and did anyone can do too. That is why I have my party blog so I can share with parents how easy it is and to also show you all the unique birthday party supplies out there you may not have ever known about.

Little Einsteins Birthday Party Supplies

Are you looking to throw a Little Einsteins Birthday Party for your Little fan? Well I just completed a post on my party blog showing all the great party supplies that are currently available. I must say there is a huge selection to choose from.  I myself do not know a lot about this show that appears on Playhouse Disney because my kids are older now, but from what I have read it looks adorable.

In addition to that post I also wrote about How to make your own Pinata and told the story all about my Fish Pinata. I also wrote about a Simple Spiderman Birthday Cake I made for my son when he was little. I miss those days – he is so past the Spiderman thing now and into more expensive things likes computers and electronics.  Maybe I should be researching how to make a computer cake for his birthday next year. Hmmm maybe I should get on that.

My daughter’s birthday is tomorrow with her Penguin Theme Birthday Party on Saturday so I have been planning. I have been making my own decorations and coming up with some fun game ideas. She is doing it at night so we can have a fire and make smores and night swim  – that works for me. I will write all about it when it is over so stay tuned. Now I am off to cook dinner for the family then to make some more penguin decorations for the party………
